  • Condition: I don't think this was used as a floor rug considering how clean the back is. It was probably displayed a wall hanging, but it had a good accumulation of dust, so I took a chance and laundered it. It came out no worse the wear and it is clean, but does have color variations or darkening in the yarn from age or years of accumulated dust or sun exposure. Taken as a whole it displays nicely as seen in photos. Vintage and pre-owned items almost certainly show some wear from age and use. I attempt to take pictures from many angles and sides for your best description of the item.     Vintage Persian Cat on chair latch hook rug wall hanging completed with finished back edges 20" x 44". Probably c. 1960s or 70s judging by the color palate, but could be the 1980s also when these were popular crafts. I didn't find any bald spots or missing yarn. It was pretty dingy when found from years of accumulated dust, so I laundered it. It is clean, but does have some variations and darkening and fading of the yarn throughout, but displays well as a whole as seen in photos. It is unusual in it's size and I have not ever seen this pattern before.
