STUNNING vintage Zuni silver hinged NATURAL turquoise concho belt LEE & MARY

FABULOUS older Zuni sterling silver hinged concho belt with clusters of beautiful blue natural turquoise stones by famous artisans Lee and Mary Weebothee. The stone clusters are domed slightly and there are applied twist wire and raindrop designs. Each concho has a sturdy hinge that links it to the next concho. There is a hook on the back of the buckle that will hook into the silver plate at the opposite end, that has five holes punched in it to add over one inch of adjustability. There is also a three concho segment that could be attached to lengthen the belt, or it could be turned into a bracelet or ring and earrings to match the belt. Lee and Mary only used the best natural turquoise in their work. I feel that this is possibly gem grade turquoise from the Fox mine in Nevada. The backs of two concho links are hallmarked “ZUNI Lee & Mary”.
Excellent quality and condition for this ca. 1980’s masterpiece. In all, there are 34 clusters that would retail for over 0.00 each if they were rings or pendants. My starting price is less than one third of that! Investment opportunity!
