    DESCRIPTION:
    This listing is for a sterling silver nail buffer made by Henry Clifford Davis in Birmingham England in 1919.  It is marked HCD for Henry Clifford Davis, anchor for Birmingham,  lion passant for sterling silver, date letter u for 1921.   The handle is marked with a lion passant, and a letter u.  The "buffer" portion appears to be original.
    CONDITION: The piece is in very good vintage
    original condition; it has been minimally hand polished .  There is one "pin-head" dent on the top surface and some typical very light scratches;  not noticeable unless one is looking for them.
    SIZE:   3 3/8" long.  handle 1 1/2" long.
