    Description

    Dennis and Nancy Edaakie -- Zuni Pueblo Artisans --- Dennis(1931-2008) & Nancy(1937 -- ).
    Dennis and Nancy were one of the most talented, respected, celebrated and innovative couples of
    all Zuni artisans.  Workmanship was exquisite with silver, gold and inlay of precious stones.
    Noted for inlays of birds, koshares, ceremonial dancers, animals, etc. Noted for designs for
    multiple types of creations.  Multiple awards at major shows and competitions ---- and were
    featured in multiple publications.  Dennis was the son of Merle Edaakie who worked for
    C.G. Wallace.  Dennis has been given the credit for developing the spinner pendant !!
    Nancy concentrated on the inlay details. Sons are Dale, Myron, Sanford and Derrick.
    Nancy no longer produces items(now 83 yrs of age).
    "Squash-like" Necklace -- AWESOME --- Nine(9) Bird inlay necklace components.
    Nine(9)--- different(!!) birds !!  Total weight = 7.2 oz.  Length = 28 inches.
    Each component of Sterling Silver and Inlays -- Sterling Silver chain and clasp.
    Inlays = turquoise, coral, mop, shell, opal, jet, sugilite and shell noted.
    Center component measures --- 2 1/8 inches X 3 7/8 inches.
    8 other components measure ---- 1.5 inches X 2.5 inches.
    The Center component features a Cardinal that is Outstanding !!
    Other birds appear to be -- Wren, Duck, Robin, Pheasant, Quail, Hummingbird, Bluebird, & Roadrunner.
