    Description

    This luminous necklace has 8 large most likely Kingman stones. The two lower stones are more blue and the smaller stones are a little more in the green family. This piece is probably from the 70’s and I obtained it from a friend who lived in Tucson and was a dealer there for about ten years. She was pretty knowledgeable about Navajo and Hopi jewelry especially. This piece has tested positive for Sterling although it isn’t marked. It does have a pair of initials HB stamped in two places but I am not sure if these marks are actually HB- it is odd because they are stamped near the edge of the pieces and they are therefore hard to photograph. I did my best (last 2 photos.
    The length of the beaded part of the necklace is 9” on each side which is 18” altogether and the pendant drop of the two larger stones is 3.5” which will give a total length of 21.5”. The clasp seems very easy to use and is in good working order.
