    M. 1853/89 Austro- Hungarian Pioneer Falchion, Short Sword- private purchase. A fine untouched post 1889 iron mounted example with clear maker stamped to the blade. The original scabbard is very sound with excellent stitching and pliable leather cover. The lack of regimental markings indicates a privately purchased weapon. Very good overall light.
